Our thanks to Tosh Ross of Bird-Dog Aviation for sharing this issue's amazing helicopter external load photo gallery with us—and all of our readers. This photo gallery features photos from a recent rhino airlift mission in South Africa.

Tosh also shared an article with us that provides complete details about the rhino airlift. If you're interested in the effort to save the rhinos, be sure to check it out.

As an interesting aside, Tosh mentioned that the same lifting method used for the rhinos has also been used to relocate buffalo on a private game farm, where one of the animals being lifted was worth more than the helicopter.
