Service Coordinator

Onboard Systems has an immediate, full-time opening for an experienced Service Coordinator. This position is for the day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week in our climate-controlled manufacturing and service environment.

Job Description

  • Receive incoming product for repair and/or service
  • Generate Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
  • Quote services to customers by phone, fax and email
  • Follow up with quote approvals and payment collections
  • Coordinate with the service manager to prioritize service
  • Coordinate customer shipping details – address, freight carrier and priority
  • Provide customer support related to service orders
  • Optionally: Perform hands-on service, write service work orders, perform inspections and return items to service at completion

Experience Requirements

  • Experience as a service coordinator

Desired Skills

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Outstanding organization, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be able to lift an average of 10 lb., and max lifting up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stand throughout shift
  • Operate computer systems including Microsoft Office
  • Work steadily on an independent basis


  • Salary range is $14-$15/hour, depending on experience and background.
