Onboard’s reliable, low maintenance cargo hook kits for the MD500 can be installed on new aircraft or used to upgrade older equipment with all the latest safety innovations and design improvements. Our cargo hook kits are OEM approved and are also a factory option on new MD500 series aircraft. They include a TALON cargo hook, manual release cable and an electrical release cable. If your helicopter has not been previously equipped with a hook, a hook mount point is also available, as well as an optional Onboard Weighing System.

The TALON LC Keeperless hook design handles a wide variety of load ring sizes and styles, and eliminates the possibility of losing a load that inadvertently gets past the keeper. The TALON LC Hydraulic hook design eliminates inadvertent cargo releases due to improper rigging and routing of the manual release cable and is made of braided stainless steel to ensure long life.

- Approval: This kit is approved for installation on MD 369D, 369E, 369F, 369FF, 369HM, 369HE, 369HS and 500N helicopters for new installations or as a replacement system. The system is certified to replace MD cargo hook P/N 369H92105-501. The system requires an MD provisions kit to complete the installation.
