CNC Programmer / Machinist
Onboard Systems has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced CNC Machine Programmer and Machinist. We are an international engineering and manufacturing company that provides products for the worldwide commercial and military helicopter industry. Our headquarters is located in Vancouver, WA in the greater Portland, OR area.
To be considered for this position, you should have a solid work history, verifiable references and be able to pass drug screening and background checks.
| Job Duties: | |
| • | Program parts for manufacture on CNC Mills. Select cutting tools and fixtures, set up and initially operate CNC machines. |
| • | When not programming, perform work as a CNC Machinist, operating CNC vertical machining centers including set up and fixturing. |
| Experience Required: | |
| • | Minimum 3-5 years experience programming and operating CNC machines. |
| • | Experience with BobCad a plus, but not required. |
| Skills: | |
| • | Comprehensive programming abilities. |
| • | Design and generate fixtures to facilitate machining of programmed parts. |
| • | Read drawings in English. |
| • | Proper use of required measuring tools. |
| Education: | |
| • | HS/GED diploma required |
