first article inspector
Onboard Systems has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced First Article Inspector. We are an international engineering and manufacturing company that provides products for the worldwide commercial and military helicopter industry. Our headquarters is located in Vancouver, WA in the greater Portland, OR area.
To be considered for this position, you should have a solid work history, verifiable references and be able to pass drug screening and background checks.
| Job Duties: | |
| • | Perform first article inspections on machined and assembled parts in accordance with AS9102 using CMM and conventional measurement tools. |
| Experience Required: | |
| • | Minimum 3-5 years experience inspecting using a CMM and required tools. |
| • | Aerospace/Aviation/Defense experience beneficial, but not required. |
| • | Exposure to a portion of the type of documentation listed above. |
| • | Maintenance, logistics, configuration, or quality background helpful. |
| Skills: | |
| • | CMM programming, specifically Verisurf with a Romer Arm. |
| • | Proper use of required measuring tools. |
| • | Read drawings in English. |
| Education: | |
| • | HS/GED diploma required |
